Monday 25th July

so we played a memory game for the class warm up session. Our teacher Rebecca had a bucket that held 15 objects in it. she placed each one on the table and then put it back into the bucket and we had to write down what we remembered.

a wooden horse.
graduation owl
tape casset
golden eiffel tower
camera christmas ornament
shuttle cock
metal arrow head
skull
boat in a jar
kahu feather
flax finger trap
purple phone key ring

we next did a name game to learn the new students names. we had the chose a a word to go with the first letter of your name. i choose crazy caroline. i stayed silent for the rest of the game because i am terrible with balls and i was afraid that i might break something and i also couldnt think of anything else to go with my name in the heat of the moment. the rest of the morning went quickly like that with more introductions towards the teachers and their pasts. after lunch we moved to the whanau room. and did a little debated on a picture wither it was a painting or a photograph. but i was rooting for the other side most of the time. but i tried to not be biased.

we were given homework to do over the week which is:

1. Make a motivational bumber sticker with material provided:

\
I choose to write believe as my motivational word because I need to believe in my self to get through this course and achieve my goals and make good art work.

next part was we needed to bring something to class that reminds us why we are coming to school and making artwork and i have choosen a series of photos but they are only online photos as i don't have hard copies.

I choose these photos for a couple reasons. Stephanie basically made me come to school in the first place which was one of the many good things that she has done for me. I choose the other's because I never had much growing up in my life, never really had friends and i have no family and other struggles but every day I come to school I find new friends who have also become my family and I find new things I love doing and I want to succeed in my schooling to make my new family proud and to make my future a brighter place.
